Experience the comfort and security of having skilled nursing staff on hand while living independently. At Clearwater Care Center, our newly renovated short-term rehabilitation wing includes a private transitional suite which serves as a bridge between short-term rehab and home.
Utilized for 3-5 nights prior to an individual's short-term rehabilitation stay, the resident receives all the care and amenities offered by the center but with the ability for therapy observation in this home-like setting. From being able to open the refrigerator door to getting in and out of multiple seat settings like a bed or chair, our dedicated occupational therapy team can evaluate what activities of daily living skills may need additional attention before discharge. Our therapy team can also conduct in-home evaluations to identify any areas of concern or recommendations for the resident.
While used toward the last few days of a resident's short-term rehabilitation stay, this large transitional suite simulates many at home activities and includes features found in most typical homes such as a half bath, bedroom, kitchenette, and dining area.
The transitional suite is well suited for individuals who need short-term rehabilitation care due to a post-operative orthopedic stay. Our team is here to provide the clinical care and rehabilitation to get you back to the activities you enjoy.
Located conveniently across the hall from the short-term rehabilitative unit dining room, residents in the transitional suite have full access to all dining services.
